Attention UK Pharmacy! Reward yourself at the C+D Awards. You deserve it

There are only weeks to go until the entry window for the C+D Awards slams shut, so add entering to the top of your to-do list and look forward to enjoying the evening.

There is a lot to love about industry awards ceremonies. It's not just a chance to reward your team with an enjoyable evening out, it's not even necessarily about winning an award. Although even Beyonce stomped off in a huff the other night after she didn’t win for Best Album at the Grammys. You’d think Beyonce would rise above it seeing as she’s Beyonce, but it does prove one thing about award ceremonies - people really do care.

They care because people deserve to be recognised for the brilliant things they do. They care because it feels wonderful to win. And no, of course they don’t need to win a shiny C+D award to know what they do is important, but those gleaming trophies are treasured by the winners.

Often, they crystalise a moment in time. Our new category for this year, the Unsung Hero award, does exactly that. No doubt there will be deserving entries from across the sector, from one-store indies to the massive chains. They will all be heroes. But there will only be one winner, and bravery and courage are what will sway our panel of judges.

As it has done for almost two decades, the C+D Awards is proud to offer a perfect way for the pharmacists of the UK, at all levels of the industry, to come together and celebrate their achievements. Last year was a brilliant occasion and there is no reason to think this year will be any different – unless you’re not there.

In the coming weeks we will be talking to previous winners who reveal the positivity it gave to their workplace long after the ceremony was over.

We want you to enter – it is free. It’s quick and easy. What is stopping you? You will have a wonderful time, and who knows, unlike Beyonce you might even win.

Click here to read more about how simple it is to enter, and give you, or your business, a bit of the love and warmth you deserve. It won’t cost a penny, but the reward is golden.
