'Significant number of pharmacies' offloaded by multiples last year, broker says

“One or two” pharmacy multiples put “a significant number of pharmacies” on the market in the final months of 2022, adding to a busy year for the pharmacy market, a brokerage has said.

The “closing months” of last year saw “one or two multiples…offload a significant number of pharmacies”, Hutchings Consultants wrote in its annual UK market update report published today (January 16).
