C+D readers can now vote for their favourite story of a pharmacy professional or team going "above and beyond" for their patients.

For the sixth year running, the C+D Above and Beyond Award gives readers a chance to vote for their winner themselves, celebrating pharmacists and pharmacy staff going the extra mile for their patients, their team and for the sector.

This marks the second year that the award has been split into two categories – Team and Individual.

Readers have until Monday, July 31 to vote for their favourite of the 12 stories listed below.

The winners will be announced at the C+D Awards ceremony in London on September 6.

Last year’s Above and Beyond Individual Award was won by pharmacist Mohammed Rafiq, who was praised by readers for saving the life of a patient in anaphylactic shock.

The Above and Beyond Team Award was won by RJR Chem, who readers applauded for drafting in the military and local volunteers to help administer thousands of COVID-19 vaccinations.
