They’re back! C+D Awards officially return for 2023 with two new categories

This year’s C+D Awards are now open for entries – with two brand new categories in which pharmacy teams can highlight their excellence.

The C+D Awards 2023 will be held at The Brewery, London on September 6

As one of the 13 categories for the C+D Awards 2023, the Innovation of the Year award will reward those who are making waves with their pharmacy business, whether that's through an online initiative or an inventive way to further the green agenda.

And the GP or PCN Pharmacist of the Year category will recognise those who have strived to be the best in emerging primacy care roles.

The Diversity and Inclusion Award returns for a second year after being introduced for the C+D Awards 2022. This award looks to highlight the essential work pharmacy teams, organisations and individuals are doing to challenge inequality in the sector.

The ever-popular Above and Beyond individual and team awards are also back for another year. These two categories will recognise individuals and teams who have gone the extra mile for their patients, and for the sector.

And C+D readers can once again enter for firm favourites like the Community Pharmacist of the Year and Independent Pharmacy of the Year categories.

After the success of last year’s event, the sixteenth annual C+D Awards will be held at The Brewery, London on September 6.

C+D's editor Beth Kennedy said: "The C+D Awards are a chance for everyone in the pharmacy family to to display their hard work and dedication. I hope you will join us for another unforgettable evening we come together to celebrate the sector's biggest triumphs.”
