Mr Webb took to Twitter to thank pharmacy teams “across the country” for their “great work” on vaccinations.

The vaccines were administered by Hythe Pharmacy’s pharmacist manager Arinze Ajimbe.
Mr Webb added in a second tweet: “I encourage everyone who is eligible to book their vaccines and protect themselves, their families and the NHS this winter.”
This year, the government announced that anyone over 50 is eligible for a free flu vaccination.

The seasonal COVID-19 booster is available to anyone aged 50 or over, pregnant women, those aged five and over and high risk, as well as carers over 16, those living or working in a care home, and frontline health and social workers.
Last year saw a record-breaking year for the national community pharmacy flu vaccine service.
Teams in England smashed their previous flu jab administration record within just two months of launching the 2021/22 service, with a total of 4.79 million vaccinations administered.
As of December 9, a total of 4.64 million flu vaccinations had been delivered by pharmacy teams through the 2022/23 service, according to data collated by the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee.
