The ‘everyday’ range, which features 60 products including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, period products and toothpaste, launched online yesterday (September 7) and will arrive in over 1,000 of its branches “over the next few weeks”, the multiple revealed in a statement.

The move comes amid soaring energy bills and rising food and fuel costs.
It follows Boots’ decision earlier this year to freeze prices on more than 1,500 own brand products as part of its “price lock promise”.
The price of these “customer favourite” products is set to remain in place until “at least” the end of 2022, the multiple added.
Bracing for winter
The multiple’s head of beauty, Boots brands and exclusives, Jenna Whittingham-Ward, said: “At a time when many people are facing choices between heating and eating and we’re all bracing ourselves for a winter of feeling the pinch more than ever, I am delighted that we’re able to offer a no-compromise range to help customers make small everyday switches to help save money.”

It marks the latest pharmacy initiative to respond to mounting living costs.
Last month, a Well spokesperson told C+D that it was “determined to provide a comprehensive package” for its employees “that is competitive in the sector” and Lloydspharmacy and Boots announced that they would each be upping their mileage rates.
Meanwhile, Chemist4U CEO James O'Loan announced that the company would give each of its employees a £750 bonus – spread across September, October, and November – to account for increasing fuel and energy prices.
