Ms Fleming is the second senior executive to leave the RPS in recent weeks

Ms Fleming is the second senior executive to leave the RPS in recent weeks, following Robbie Turner’s – director of pharmacy and membership experience – departure yesterday (March 31).

Last month (March 3), the RPS announced that it was “working on a proposal” that could see a restructure at executive level, with “two roles... at potential risk of redundancy”. It would not confirm at the time which roles could be affected.

CEO: Updates to come

Ms Fleming joined the RPS from Health Education England in 2018, to “lead the team in the design and delivery of the educational strategy and all the educational programmes of the [RPS]”.

RPS chief executive Paul Bennett thanked Ms Fleming for her “excellent work” and wished her “all the best for the future”.

“I will be updating everyone on how any changes to our structure enable us to deliver our Royal Charter obligations and our five-year strategy in April,” Mr Bennett added in the announcement yesterday.
