GPhC appoints Gisela Abbam as new chair

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) has appointed Gisela Abbam as its new chair, it has announced.

Ms Abbam will officially start her new role on March 14

The Privy Council appointed Ms Abbam “after a robust selection process, which was scrutinised by the Professional Standards Authority”, the regulator wrote in an announcement this morning (February 16).
