Manufacturer Tillotts Pharma will be demonstrating its coeliac disease test kit at this year's Pharmacy Show.

The Simtomax point-of-care test provides results from one drop of blood in 10 minutes, the manufacturer says. It invited pharmacists to visit Tillotts at stand PH56 at the show, which takes place on October 5 and 6, to see "how quick and easy the test is to administer".

Pharmacists could also book an appointment to be tested themselves and find out how the test could "provide a new income stream", Tillotts Pharma added.
